We recognise that the transition from student to qualified practitioner can be daunting. Our newly qualified AHPs are supported from day one with a 12 month period of Preceptorship which guides and supports them during the transition to develop their practice. And the support doesn’t stop there. We continue to invest in growing our AHP staff in many diverse ways including rotational opportunities, exciting secondments, continued CPD and apprenticeships.
You can experience our embedded culture of regular supervision and appraisal. Or you can book a place at our bespoke career clinics which provide the opportunity to talk about your career pathway and have a coaching conversation to open new doors to new opportunities.
AHP good practice is showcased and celebrated at events throughout the year. Here you can network, share new approaches, learn about innovative services and new business models, make new friends and simply have fun!
There is something for everyone! If you trained as an AHP and have since left the profession and the HCPC register, you can join a programme that supports your return to practice.
Our AHPs take different career journeys across the breadth of our hospital and community services. Take a look at our latest roles and venture into the universe of opportunities that could help shape your AHP career path with us.
